In early 2012, two Ridge View Rams along with Clinical Director, Jamie Glick had the opportunity to speak at the University of Denver. They spoke to a group of Masters of Social Work students who are learning evidenced based interventions for high risk youth and are graduating from the program in May. Mr. Glick presented the evidenced based practices that are utilized at Ridge View Youth Services along with suggestions on how to best work with high risk youth. The Ridge View students were able to discuss their experiences with the different evidenced based interventions that they have been exposed to and how learning these new skills will help them when they return to the community. It was a great public speaking experience for the students and an opportunity for professionals entering the field to hear about the great things going on at Ridge View.
