Contributing to a new Start in Life for RVA Students
Students at Ridge View Academy have a unique opportunity. Through earning status, having at least 3 months left in the program and submitting a letter they can have their tattoos removed free of charge. Shelley Novello, President/CEO and Certified Laser Specialist of Ink-B-Gone has been providing this generous service for the last four and half years to RVA students. Shelley became interested in opening her own laser tattoo removal business after completing her licensure and certification. Soon after Ink-B-Gone opened, she established a relationship with Ridge View Academy and has since been contributing a new start on life for our students.
The Ink-B-Gone team consists of Shelley, Dr. Dennis Kotelko, Board Certified Medical Director and Simone Bailey, Manager and Certified Laser Specialist. Ridge View Students attend treatment every month. Though the actual treatment time with the laser may only take minutes, the entire removal process can take up to several months. Before Students begin the removal process of their tattoos, they must first submit a letter explaining why they got their tattoos, why they want them removed and how having them removed will help benefit them in the future. Students are also asked to have a minimum of three months left in their program and earn their RAM status.
